Not surprising

…that I haven’t been keeping this updated regularly, and god knows it’s only going to get worse once college starts—ps, COME SOONER, I’m going stir crazy. Summer’s starting to wrap up as more and more of my friends migrate across the country (damn you semester system). I still have a solid two weeks before I finally head out, but I can’t be more excited. Honestly, if school’s going to be as fantastic as my summer has been, then I’m in for a lovely adventure.

David Sedaris, I love you; funniest short stories I have ever read.
(Thanks for recommending it to me, Nathan!)

So I graduated; senior no more! Keep it classy ‘09, I will truly miss you all.

Meanwhile, I’m stuck in the transitory period between graduating high school and beginning college, or as I like to call it, SUMMER ‘09! I have a long 3 months to look forward to before heading up North, and I plan to make the best of it:

  • work (get money, get paid)
  • multiple hangout sessions (as inefficient LA public transit is, thank god for the Metro and the TAP card)
  • parties +1 (aka, have some sort of social life; might as well get some exposure to a party scene of some sort—.)
  • vacation (friends and family, domestic and international)
  • R-time (relax, read, rave?)
  • LA exploration (concerts and art galleries, pleasethanks?)

Cheers!

Ji Lee and the Bubble Project

YESYESYES!

I AM DONE WITH ALL MY APs / ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITIES! YES!

I only have two classes—Drawing and Painting, and Costume Design, which don’t even meet everyday!—left. Minus the final project I have in CD and a piece I want to finish in D&P, I have nothing else to turn in; I’ve never felt so free. Don’t have to get home early to study or do work, don’t have to stay up late finishing up any assignments! I just get to relax and hang out with friends until that walk across the stage (: Expect to see me lying near the school pool tanning and blasting music with a book over my face from now on.

CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED!
